The Line Up

JODY BOOTH & THE EAST TEXAS RAMBLERS

Real Country Music...
Jody Booth was born into a very long line of musical prodigies going back several generations (you may have noticed his daughter Laci Kaye Booth on American Idol).  He was raised in the small, East Texas town of Livingston where he still resides today.  Extremely proud to be called a Country artist, he has dedicated his career to creating what he calls real Country music. Although his influences include many great predecessors including George Jones, Waylon Jennings, and Dean Dillon, he likes to say that his greatest influences remain, “My Momma and Merle Haggard, God rest his soul.”  Says Jody, “I find inspiration all around me.  I try to make my music representative of myself and my love for Country music.”

JOMO AND THE POSSUM POSSE

Best known for the wildly popular viral video series, “Guy On A Buffalo,” Jomo & The Possum Posse have made a name for themselves with their unique blend of cynicism, dead-eyed soul and anti-machismo honky-tonk.
Their cult video series has surpassed 30 million views, garnering national attention from NPR’s All Things Considered, Forbes, G4’s Attack of the Show, and a slew of major media outlets.
The band is led by Jomo Edwards, who’s award-wining lyrics tend to skate the line between the sardonic and the arcane… and over the past decade, JPP has established itself as one of the most talented, fresh and cerebrally entertaining live acts around. The band's upcoming 3rd full-length studio album is set for release later in 2019.

SOUR BRIDGES

Brewed with the best ingredients, Sour Bridges is the finest blend of hand clapping, foot stomping Browngrass that Texas has to offer!

What's Browngrass?  Think bluegrass on steroids – Sour Bridges is inspired by greats like Gram Parsons, The Band and The Byrds. The funky, rock-inspired group’s distinct sound starts with a steady drumbeat, layers on bluegrass instrumentation – banjo, guitar, bass, and fiddle – and tops off with electric guitar, boots, and impressive harmonies.

THE BLUE GROOVES
